Qualifications And Requirements

Experience, Education, And Training
- Two years of experience in the operation and maintenance procedures necessary for installation of traffic control signs and/or markings.
- Must possess at minimum the written portion of the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) exam (permit). The skills testing portion of the Class B CDL with airbrakes must be obtained within the probationary period.
- Must obtain International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certification in Signs and Markings and a Work Zone Safety Certification from IMSA or the American Traffic Safety Association (ATSSA) within the probationary period.
