We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in sports coaching and an understanding of education-based athletics, with experience working with students of various ages. This role involves developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork, integrity, and fair play.
- Develop and implement practice plans tailored to the needs of participants.
- Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
- Monitor athletes’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain communication with parents or guardians regarding athlete progress and program updates. Including weekly updates.
- Previous experience in coaching or teaching physical education is preferred.
- Knowledge of various sports
- Experience working with students in a recreational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with athletes, parents
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes while fostering a positive team culture.
- A commitment to promoting health, fitness, and well-being among participants.

Positions in this class typically require:
- Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Talking, Hearing, Seeing and Repetitive Motions.
- Able to move equipment, which may include pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Able to stand for eight (8) hours at a time (be on your feet).
- Able to work in a considerably noisy environment.
- Must have full use of arms and legs to operate equipment and to climb stairs and have bimanual dexterity (full use of both arms and both hands).
- Able to work outside during the warm and cold months.
- Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Must have eyesight of at least 20/30 with or without correction.
- Must be able to hear at least 40 decibels in an environment producing 500 – 4000 hertz.
Physical Requirements:
Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions:
Subject to outside environmental conditions or extreme heat.
