In this part-time, temporary role, you will support the maintenance and repair of streets and traffic safety-related infrastructure throughout the community. Typical assignments include street and sidewalk maintenance, traffic sign and pavement marking work, storm drain maintenance, and litter and graffiti abatement. This position offers a dynamic, field-based environment where your work helps keep Pleasanton’s public infrastructure safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents and visitors every day.

In This Role, You Will
- Perform street maintenance activities such as pothole repair, skin patching, paving, crack sealing, and base repair.
- Assist with sidewalk maintenance, including removal and replacement, concrete forming, pouring and finishing, offset mitigation, and concrete patching.
- Fabricate and install traffic signs.
- Install pavement markings and traffic legends.
- Support storm drain maintenance, including leaf removal, medallion marking inspections, and removal and replacement work.
- Assist with litter pickup and graffiti abatement to help maintain the appearance and safety of City infrastructure.
