Examples Of Job Functions:
- Leverage GIS to solve problems, conduct analysis, and create maps.
- Assist other GIS Analysts with data preparation and formatting.
- Prepare a variety of maps for internal customers.
- Perform GIS data cleanup and updates.
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
- Conduct simple geospatial analysis using ArcGIS software and its extensions.
- Participate in team and departmental meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in GIS or a related field.
- Knowledge of GIS concepts and applications primarily using Esri software solutions (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Portal for ArcGIS); knowledge of spatial analysis and mapping techniques; basic knowledge of geodatabases.
- Skilled in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing; strong analytical abilities; good organizational skills.
- No previous work experience is required.
- Available to work a full-time schedule
