The Rehabilitation Loan Processor position supports residents enrolling in City of Phoenix Housing Rehabilitation programs. This is done by performing a variety of administrative tasks related to the development, execution, and filing of various homeowner grant and loan documents. This program is funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program with the goal of preserving and rehabilitating low- and moderate-income housing in Phoenix.
Responsibilities Include
Pay Range: $21.54 to $31.82 per hour.
Hiring Range: $21.54 to $30.31 per hour.

Responsibilities Include
- Creating and reviewing residential housing rehabilitation grant contracts and loan agreements.
- Reviewing, processing, and tracking various invoices.
- Using technology including Adobe Acrobat, customer management databases, spreadsheets, and other formats to keep projects organized and on track.
- Monitoring program activity to ensure compliance with established guidelines and funding restrictions.
- Ability to and knowledge of working in diverse communities.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in-person, through email, and over the telephone.
- Has the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and directions.
- Has a track record of providing excellent customer service and resolving customer inquiries.
Pay Range: $21.54 to $31.82 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of progressively responsible experience in mortgage loan packaging, rehabilitation loan/grant packaging, or real estate financing.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
- All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
- Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.

The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
- Two years of experience using collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Cisco Webex.
- Experience creating complex documents using Adobe Sign.
- Experience processing invoices and monitoring payments.
- Experience using technology to keep projects organized and on task.
- Experience working with and supporting contractors, vendors, and program partners.
- Experience recording and compiling data in an electronic customer management system.
- Bi-Lingual Spanish (ability to speak, read, and write) preferred.
