Definition
Supervises infant to school age children and leads recreational activities, such as, but not limited to, games and arts and crafts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, implements, and leads a variety of recreational activities in the ares of games and arts and crafts, supervises infant to schools age children; motivates children to participates in activities; insures children's safety; promotes positive interactions between participants and maintains discipline; oversees the use of equipment and supplies; cleans up after actvities.
Requirements
Special training or experience in supervising infant to school age children and leading games and arts and crafts activities for this age group.Knowledge of the issues involved in the supervising of infant to school age children and on the leadership of the age appropriate recreation activities.
