JFK Weekend Pool / Floater Custodian (1)
Full-time position: 40 Hours per week
Schedule:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 2:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Thursday: 2:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 2:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Grade C: Hourly Pay Rate Range: $19.77-$25.00 based on experience
FY26 Pay rates currently in negotiations.
Duties:
Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, washing
floors, cleaning restrooms, polishing and waxing furniture, polishing and waxing floors, and cleaning common areas.
May open building(s); unlocks doors, turn on lights, checks heating and cooling systems, etc.; may close building(s); lock doors, secures building(s). Replaces lights and performs minor repairs to furniture, buildings, and equipment; shovels snow; may be required to maintain grounds surrounding buildings.
May perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical duties as directed; operates heating and cooling systems
including thermostat, and safety controls; moves and sets up furniture and equipment; collects and disposes of
refuse.
May perform other similar or related duties as required or as situation dictates.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
Minimum of 6 months’ related experience required.
Valid MA Class D Driver’s License required.
