The City of Northampton Parks and Recreation Department is seeking dynamic individuals looking to make a
difference in the lives of children for this 2025-2026 school year. Be a part of an extraordinary team of staff who
are committed to caring and fostering relationships, creating an exciting, safe, wholesome afterschool or half day
experiences for local kids this school year!
The hours and days vary, but on half days and full days off from school during the 2025-2026 school year.
Approximately:
11:00 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. on school half days
8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on school full days off

Half day programs include a field trip to local entertainment venues such as trampoline parks, roller skating, bowling and more.
Full day programs may include field trips, swimming, special presenters and other creative programming facilitated by staff.
Staffing needs vary by day and applicants do not need to be available every half or full day.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Equivalent of 2 seasons' experience in youth related recreation activities; or, 1 year of college, preferably recreation oriented.
Must be reliable, friendly, and responsible.
