The Parks and Recreation Department welcomes adult senior volunteers to read or teach foreign languages to young students as part of the City of Miami Beach’s new Intergenerational Program Initiative.
Volunteer Opportunities exist at the following locations:
Play Time Programming (Ages 3-4)
Monday-Friday 10 AM - 11 AM
- South Pointe Park (1 Washington Avenue)
- Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue)
- North Shore Park and Youth Center (501 72 Street)
Monday-Friday 3 PM - 4 PM
- Flamingo Park (999 11 Street)
- Muss Park (4300 Chase Avenue)
- North Shore Park and Youth Center (501 72 Street)
Must successfully pass background check prior to commencement of any services.
