The purpose of this position is to oversee the development, operations, and maintenance of all Public, Education, and Government cable access programming for the City of McAllen. The position involves creating master control graphics, shot sheets, and coordinating schedules, as well as engaging in community outreach, training, and budget administration. The Communications Operations Manager manages technical operations, including equipment setup, monitoring maintenance, overseeing inventory, and recommending system upgrades to meet operational needs.
