Under general supervision, the Senior Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical duties. Prepares billing for various City services and records related account receivable transactions. Employee conducts office clerical functions to include processing invoices and statements, preparing correspondence and other documents, answering phones, providing exceptional customer service, operating office equipment and assisting with clerical and administrative functions. The employee performs specialized departmental functions and customer services. The employee may provide administrative assistance to supervisor on some routine duties as assigned, indirectly oversee office functions as assigned and may relieve supervisor on some routine duties as assigned.
