What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT-ZOO KEEPER I (AMBASSADOR) position at City of Little Rock?
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school and six (6) months of experience in the care of birds, ambassador animals, raptors, reptiles, or other exotic animals in a controlled environment, (based on departmental need) OR two (2) or more years of related education (biology, zoology, wildlife biology, etc.) with an internship in a zoo or sanctuary setting. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
