The City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Repair Worker II to help keep our parks, trails, and recreational facilities in top condition for the community. This position performs a wide variety of skilled maintenance, repair, and construction tasks that support safe, attractive, and functional public spaces across Lincoln.

What You'll Do- Maintain, repair, and build park facilities, trails, pools, and recreation areas.
- Perform skilled work in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and welding.
- Install and maintain playgrounds, shelters, fountains, and park amenities.
- Operate heavy equipment and vehicles for construction, maintenance, and snow removal.
- Inspect facilities, ensure safety, and provide excellent service to the community.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction activities in any one or more of the craft disciplines including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical repair and related disciplines
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills may be considered.
Necessary Special Requirements- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Salary : $29 - $35
