The City is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead Accounts Payable operations and ensure accurate, timely financial transactions. This role audits vouchers, journal entries, and P-Card purchases, manages vendor accounts, and supports staff with financial system procedures.
What You’ll Do:
- Audit and approve payment vouchers and interdepartmental charges.
- Prepare and post journal entries; review P-Card transactions; void warrants as needed.
- Maintain vendor accounts and follow fraud-prevention procedures.
- Train and assist city staff on financial systems and procedures.
- Reconcile payments, maintain records, and respond to inquiries from departments and vendors.

Graduation from high school or equivalent supplemented by courses in bookkeeping and general commercial subjects and four years of experience in bookkeeping and related clerical work or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
