Performs a variety of un-skilled or semi-skilled maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of City water, wastewater, streets, meters, and storm drainage systems. Work is performed under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

- High school diploma or GED.
- (1) year of experience in construction, operation, repair, maintenance, City water, wastewater, streets, meters, and storm drainage systems, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience.
- Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment.
- Must possess or obtain within six (6) months of hire, a valid State of Florida Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) and maintain the ability to drive a city owned vehicle per established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines and maintain satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
- Within one (1) year of hire, must participate in Trench & Confined Safety Training.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions established to perform this job successfully.
Salary : $34,225 - $58,182
