- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours per calendar year.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

Work Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per month, maximum of 80 hours per month. The schedule is determined based on the workload.
Brief Description of the work:
This individual will perform database work including but not limited to alias changes, device additions and removals, inventory and other various task.
• Create and update work orders.
• Prepare and ship damaged radios and other equipment off for repair.
• Prepare miscellaneous database queries monthly for various agencies.
• Track ID data for local, federal, and state agencies region-wide.
• Provide effective public safety radio operations through database management.
• Enter requisitions into the procurement system.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, or annually billing in the procurement system.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 5-7 years of Administrative Assistant and financial experience.
- Microsoft software experience (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
An Ideal Candidate Would Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associates Degree
- 5 years’ experience involving financial processes, records management, office management, and contracts
- Experience using databases
- Budget and accounting experience
- Experience with file retention
- Experience with procurement practices and procedures
