Work schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm April 1 – Dec 31
- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12 month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
As a Seasonal Crew Member, the individual selected will assist full-time staff in the maintenance and upkeep of the City’s four (4) municipal cemeteries. Duties will include using line trimmers (weed eaters) to clear around monuments; removing debris such as limbs, old flowers and trash; weeding and mulching natural areas and planting areas; and assisting with the opening and closing of graves.
This position is a non-benefited position which is M-F 8am-4:30pm April 1 – Dec 31. You have a reliable means of contact; i.e. home and/or cell and transportation.
The job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License “OR” reliable means of transportation to work
- Must be at least 18 years of age
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance
- Previous experience using commercial mowers, line trimmers, tractors, and other landscape tools
