The City of Fairfield Police Department is seeking an experienced and motivated Records Support Supervisor to lead a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and security of critical public safety records. Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Specialized training or college-level coursework in criminal justice, law enforcement, public or business administration, or a related field is desirable.
Experience:
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible journey-level experience in maintaining public safety records. Some supervisory or lead experience is highly desirable.
License and Certificates:
Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid California Class C driver’s license is required.
Possession of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Basic Records Certificate is required. Possession of a Records Supervisor Certificate issued by the California Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) is highly desirable at the time of hire.
Completion of the POST Records Supervisor course and Public Records Act course is required within 18 months of the date of hire.
