ANIMAL CONTROL KENNEL ASSIST.
DUTIES:
Performs general clean-up of kennel area.
Move animals between cages to clean.
Washes and disinfects animal cages.
Perform general grounds keeping.
Assist with animals brought into the shelter from daily runs.
Greets and assists the general public with information on the animals and the shelter’s policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to physically handle large animals; some experience preferred.
Capable of dealing with the public in a tactful and courteous manner; sometimes under stressful situations.
