High school diploma or GED required. Two years of code enforcement work experience to include public interaction, conflict resolution, and familiarity with legal procedures is required. An equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (and maintain while employed in this position). Must possess, or be able to obtain, a Basic Code Enforcement Certification through the Colorado Association of Code Enforcement Officials within two years from the date of hire, and a Housing and Property Maintenance Inspector Certification through the International Code Council (ICC) within one year from the date of hire.
