What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Basketball Official (Temporary Part-time Position) 2025-2026 position at City of Columbia, MO?
Will officiate games as assigned by the Recreation Specialist and Columbia Youth Basketball Association (CYBA). Will maintain game control and handle rule violations.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age. High school certification is preferred, but will train. Able to work on Saturdays. Desire to relate to and work with youth. Referee shirt and whistle will be provided. Full mobility of both arms and legs to allow ability to work, run repeatedly, bend & stoop, lift and hold arms downward, outward and above head.

Pre-Season training early fall with Pre-Season Tournament in Mid-December and league games running January through the middle of March.
