Signing bonus with C Level Certification of $1,500, an additional $1,500 after one year of service. and an additional $3,000 after 2 years of service, for a total of $6K.
Full-Time Water Treatment Plant Operator (Minimum Class C)
The City of Clinton is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Water Treatment Plant Operator (Minimum Class C).
Under occasional supervision, the Water Treatment Plant Operator performs skilled work in operating, inspecting, and maintaining water filtration equipment and systems to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the City’s water treatment plant. This position reports to the Water Filtration Division Manager and includes performing related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- High school diploma or GED recognized by the South Carolina Department of Education.
- Must possess and maintain a minimum Class C Water Treatment Operator license (or higher) issued by SCDHEC.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate, inspect, maintain, test, and accurately record water treatment data.
- This position is classified as Non-Exempt.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and any required certification testing.
- This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive and is subject to the City’s random drug testing policy.
