Job Description

As a Customer Service Clerk II, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
Processing utility account information and payments with accuracy.
Collaborating with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
Providing support for community outreach programs and initiatives.
Reviewing and analyzing customer accounts including meter readings, water consumption, billing details and adjustments.

Required Qualifications
VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONALREQUIREMENT:
Requires high school diploma or GED and any combination of education and experience equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education in bookkeeping or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENT:
In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this position requires a minimum of six months of related, full-time equivalent experience.

SPECIALREQUIREMENTS:
Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
