What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Class Instructor - Parks position at City of Cape Girardeau?
POSITION TYPE: Hourly, Non-Exempt
FUNCTION:
- To properly and productively instruct all participants in our classes with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the well being of all students.
- Prepares an outline of activities for each class.
- Responsible for filling out accident reports if need be.
- Takes daily attendance of each class.
- Ensures that each child goes home with the appropriate care taker.
- Makes the appropriate action in the case of misbehaving children.
- Properly instructs students in a positive way
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Properly returns all supplies used to original location when finished with class.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience with working with children
- CPR certified recommended
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrates a positive energetic attitude towards children and the activities they will be involved in.
