Children\'s Librarian applications are being accepted for appointment on
behalf of the Board of Library Trustees. The Children\'s Librarian is
responsible for planning, developing, and delivering library services
for juvenile patrons and their families. Key duties include organizing
story times, educational programs, and seasonal events; selecting and
maintaining children\'s materials; providing reader\'s advisory;
building partnerships with schools and community organizations; and
fostering early literacy and a love of reading. The Children\'s
Librarian creates a welcoming, inclusive environment that supports the
developmental needs of young patrons. Schedule: Full-time position (35
hours per week) This is a year-round position with morning, afternoon,
evening hours and required to work one or two evenings a week and up to
