Summary Description 

Manages trust services for assigned region. 

Essential Functions

•Administers account relationships for assigned region

•Accesses, inputs and retrieves client account information utilizing trust accounting system

•Engages in substantial contact with trust clients, new business prospects, professionals and other bank representatives

•Prepares and participates in proactive client meetings regarding account administration and client needs

•Meets with existing and prospective customers to review and assess financial objectives

•Responsible for assisting in business development activities in assigned region

•Participates in various community relations related activities in assigned region

•Provides operational support to trust operations department

•Adheres to all regulatory compliance policies and procedures

 Position Requirements 

•Bachelor’s degree in related field

•Familiarity with a broad range of trust services including personal trust, investment management, estate administration, investment strategies, and tax codes

•Willingness to invest time in continuous learning, including completion of Trust School and related educational opportunities

•Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

•Typically, the employee may sit to perform the work.  However, there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items in the course of the work  

 Critical Skills / Expertise 

•Familiarity with tax and regulatory issues preferred

•Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

•Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Access, Accounting software

•Professional image and excellent communication skills

•Self-motivated and ability to work independently
