Summary Description 

Manages trust services for assigned region. 

Essential Functions

• Administers account relationships for assigned region
• Accesses, inputs and retrieves client account information utilizing trust accounting system
• Engages in substantial contact with trust clients, new business prospects, professionals and other bank representatives
• Prepares and participates in proactive client meetings regarding account administration and client needs
• Meets with existing and prospective customers to review and assess financial objectives
• Responsible for assisting in business development activities in assigned region
• Participates in various community relations related activities in assigned region
• Provides operational support to trust operations department
• Adheres to all regulatory compliance policies and procedures

 Position Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Familiarity with a broad range of trust services including personal trust, investment management, estate administration, investment strategies, and tax codes
• Willingness to invest time in continuous learning, including completion of Trust School and related educational opportunities
• Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
• Typically, the employee may sit to perform the work.  However, there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items in the course of the work  

Critical Skills / Expertise 

• Familiarity with tax and regulatory issues preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Access, Accounting software
• Professional image and excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
