Lead Preschool Teacher (Ages 2½–3½)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:15 AM–5:15 PM
City Kids Country Cabin Preschool is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team! This position works with children ages 2½–3½ years old in a fun, play-based classroom environment focused on learning, social development, and kindergarten readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain positive communication with families regarding their child’s progress.
- Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, meals, and rest time.
- Ensure licensing regulations and center policies are followed.
- Work closely with fellow teachers and administration to maintain a positive team environment.
- Assist with potty training and encourage independence skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children preferred.
- Must meet Washington State childcare licensing requirements.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for early childhood education.
