Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces with proper sanitation techniques.
- Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and pressure washing when needed.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Conduct floor care activities including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as waste disposal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning tools are maintained in excellent condition.
Requirements
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during cleaning routines or moving supplies.
- Experience with window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, pressure washers, and chemical handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
