Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses
- Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Review and reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Support state sales tax filings and payroll accrual preparation
- Assist with acquisition-related accounting, including integration and consolidated reporting
- Utilize Sage Intacct and project accounting tools for reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and financial controls
- Collaborate with leadership to support financial reporting and operational decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3 - 4 or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF functions
- Experience with Sage Intacct and project accounting preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
