Schedule: Overnight Shift | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Armed Security Officer for an overnight assignment in Henryetta. This position is responsible for maintaining security around an assigned facility, protecting personnel and property, monitoring controlled areas, and identifying conditions that require attention.

The officer will spend the shift conducting patrols, monitoring access points and security equipment, documenting activity, and responding to incidents according to established procedures. The position requires someone who is dependable, attentive, comfortable working independently, and capable of making responsible decisions in a security-sensitive setting.

Position-Specific Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Active Oklahoma Armed Security License (Guard Card) required.
• Must possess a personal firearm that meets applicable state, federal, and company requirements.
• Must be legally authorized to perform assigned armed security duties.
• Must successfully complete all required background screening.
• Must demonstrate safe and responsible firearm handling.
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

Property & Perimeter Checks

• Perform scheduled foot and vehicle patrols throughout assigned areas.
• Inspect buildings, gates, fencing, parking areas, access points, and restricted locations.
• Look for signs of unauthorized entry, property damage, unsafe conditions, or unusual activity.
• Maintain a consistent security presence throughout the property.
• Identify conditions requiring corrective action and notify the appropriate personnel.
• Help safeguard equipment, facilities, and other designated assets.
  
  

Entry & Access Procedures

• Monitor authorized entry and exit points.
• Verify identification and access authorization according to established procedures.
• Process visitors and maintain required access records.
• Issue visitor credentials when applicable.
• Watch for attempts to enter restricted areas without authorization.
• Immediately communicate access-control concerns to supervisors or designated contacts.
  
  

Security Technology & Monitoring

• Observe CCTV cameras and available electronic surveillance systems.
• Monitor alarms and access-control equipment for potential security events.
• Recognize unusual activity or system alerts that require investigation.
• Report damaged, malfunctioning, or improperly operating security equipment.
• Maintain awareness of activity across assigned monitoring areas.
  
  

Emergency & Incident Response

• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, emergencies, and other security concerns.
• Follow post orders, emergency procedures, and company policies when handling incidents.
• Communicate with supervisors and emergency responders when additional assistance is necessary.
• Support law enforcement or emergency personnel during significant incidents.
• Use force only when legally justified, properly trained, and consistent with company policy and applicable law.
• Maintain composure and professional communication during stressful situations.
  
  

Reporting & Shift Records

• Complete daily activity logs and required security documentation.
• Prepare detailed reports describing incidents, unusual observations, and security concerns.
• Record patrol findings and actions taken during the shift.
• Communicate significant developments to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Use approved electronic reporting systems when required.
• Submit complete documentation before the end of the assigned shift.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma Armed Security License (Guard Card).
• Personal firearm suitable for assigned duties.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established post orders.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Professional demeanor and sound decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain attentive throughout an overnight assignment.
• Ability to safely perform walking, standing, and patrol duties.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous armed security experience.
• Experience at controlled-access or high-security facilities.
• Military, law enforcement, corrections, or related protective-services experience.
• Familiarity with access-control procedures and emergency response practices.
• Experience operating CCTV, alarm, or electronic access-control systems.
• Experience using digital security reporting platforms such as TrackTik, Belfry, or comparable systems.
• Experience preparing detailed incident reports.
• Demonstrated commitment to firearm safety and responsible handling.
