Job Summary
Busy outpatient private practice seeking a reliable, motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time 1099 independent contractor position supporting patient care across two Jacksonville office locations.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in professionalism, punctuality, and consistent attendance while providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Patient intake and documentation
- Record vital signs and prepare patients for visits
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation (eClinicalWorks)
- Assist providers during patient visits
- Provide patient instructions and follow-up information
- Maintain clean and organized clinical workspaces
- Support smooth daily clinic operations
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience
- required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Reliable transportation to both office locations
- Bilingual (Spanish)

Compensation
Competitive pay based on proficiency.

- We have 2 office locations, Medical Office Building at Memorial Hospital off of University Blvd. and the medical plaza across the street from Baptist beaches hospital in Jacksonville Beach. Are you able to reliably commute between both office locations?
