This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a broad scope of new and existing customers within the cable assembly/wire harness and general electronics industries to increase sales of products. Major Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and execute direct sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory or vertical markets.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers virtually and in-person.Maintain deep understanding of product features, applications, and industry standards (e.g., IPC A620).Collaborate with engineering and product teams to address customer technical requirements.Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts in alignment with company policies.Manage customer relationships and provide post-sale support to ensure satisfaction.Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote products and gather market intelligence, approximately 30% of the time.Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems. Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.1-3 years of direct sales experience, ideally in electrical testing, instrumentation, or industrial equipment.Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex electrical systems and testing protocols.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).Experience selling to manufacturing, MRO, government, OEM organizations.Familiarity with products such as insulation testers, circuit analyzers, power quality meters, or high-voltage test equipment. Travel:This is a blend of an inside and outside sales position that maintains a geographic selling area. This will include flying, driving, and overnight hotel stays up to 30% of time. Most travel will be in North America with occasional international travel opportunities. Physical Requirements:Physical demands: Regularly lift 35 pounds and use of hand and wrists when typing information on keyboard. Must be able to twist, reach overhead, crawl, stoop, and bend to the floor. Occasionally lift 50 pounds.Visual accommodation: Must be able to read written materials and instructions to communicate with co-workers and customers.Hearing accommodation: Must be able to make and receive phone calls.Working conditions: Employee works in a clean environment with little exposure to fumes and dust.
