Primary Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to our Admin & Operations team.
- Assist with computer, phone, and desk set up for new hires, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Answer inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Order replacement hardware or new software needed for operations.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and networks.
- Assist with office equipment maintenance.
- Report office equipment deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Assist with office relocation or office additions, such as building furniture, developing office floor plans, and setting up electronic components.
- Setting up new users accounts, profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Implement the rollout of new applications or updates.
- Testing and evaluating new technology for use.
- Managing server network and ensuring consistent uptime.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- 1-3 years of work experience in customer service, operations, data entry, call center, IT/Network Helpdesk, or logistics required.
- Above average proficiency in Google Suite Apps and Administration; Microsoft Office (vlookup, pivot tables, reports) is preferred.
- Associates' or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with intermediate PC Helpdesk, VOIP deployment and support, and Networking setup and administration is required.
- Must have strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions through to completion.
- Ability to prioritize, balance, and organize information while completing multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
- CompTIA A Certification preferred.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
- Significant walking or other means of mobility.
- Ability to work in a seated position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
- Generally in an indoor office setting; may include occasional participation in outdoor company events.
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.
- While performing duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
