POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a hospitality focused and organized individual to join our team as a Lounge/Club Manager to oversee the operations of our high-end nightclub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Manage the day-to-day functions of the lounge/club, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and venue maintenance to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience.
- Ensure all guests receive exceptional service with a focus on personalized attention to VIPs and high-profile clientele. Handle guest concerns and requests promptly, maintaining the venue’s reputation for excellence.
- Lead, motivate, and train staff in all areas of service and hospitality. Conduct regular team meetings, pre shifts, and oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Manage the execution of events, private parties, and special programming. Collaborate with event planners, hosts, and vendors to ensure all client needs are met with attention to detail.
- Responsibly oversee the financial performance of the lounge, including managing budgets, and controlling costs to meet profitability goals. Monitor daily financial records and generate reporting.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries of high-quality goods. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies and beverages as needed, and reducing waste.
- Build and maintain relationships with frequent guests. Create an atmosphere that appeals to the club’s target audience, enhancing member satisfaction and retention.
- Quickly and calmly handle any issues that arise, whether related to staff, guests, or operations, ensuring minimal disruption to the club’s ambiance and service.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPIERENCE AND SKILLS
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in fine dining restaurant management or lounge/club manager role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, wine, and service etiquette.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to move around the establishment, including walking, standing, to supervise operations and assist guests as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Flexibility to reach, bend, and stoop.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
