About the Position:
We are a leading global manufacturer of high-performance electromagnetic actuators, metering pumps, and proportional solenoid valves. For over 50 years, we have provided precision solutions to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Sales Engineer to manage the full sales lifecycle and support our growing customer base in the off-highway sector. In this remote role, you will combine strong technical aptitude with commercial instincts to deliver innovative solutions, build long-term partnerships, and drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue target customers, markets, and new business opportunities within your assigned region.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and RFQs to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with OEMs, distributors, and key accounts.
- Provide expert technical guidance on the application and utilization of our electromagnetic actuators, valves, and pumps.
- Partner with Product Management and Business Unit leadership to communicate market trends, competitive insights, and new business opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and long-term agreements aligned with both customer and company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- •A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or account management within a technical or industrial environment, such as off-highway, equipment, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- A willingness to travel 40-50% within the United States, with potential travel to Germany for training.
- Experience working with OEMs and distributor networks, along with fluid industry knowledge, is highly preferred.
