Title: Housekeeper

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday; 6am-2pm

Wage: $17.00 - $19.00 an hour

• At least 2 Years Experience in Housekeeping at a Hotel or Assisted Living is preferred

Your day as a Housekeeper: WestHaven Senior Living

• Complete cleaning lists as published in both resident rooms and common areas as assigned by the DES
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces according to established housekeeping standards.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash.
• Launder, fold, and distribute linens and personal laundry while following proper infection control procedures.
• Report any needed repairs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets to ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Assist residents with room organization or light tasks as needed while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Collaborate with care staff to support a clean, comfortable, and home-like environment for all residents.
• Completes room "changeovers" before and after resident moves to include minor repairs and painting.
