Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, adhering strictly to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and slicing tools
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain food safety protocols by following sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Support food production by managing high-volume pizza orders during peak hours with speed and accuracy
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated according to food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences for our guests
Experience
- Prior experience in a culinary setting, preferably with pizza or high-volume food production experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and knife skills
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced environment
- Background in restaurant or catering environments with an emphasis on food handling and meal preparation
- Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Proven ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy service times
