What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campus Worship Coordinator, Grants Mill position at Church of the Highlands?
Purpose of the Job
This role supports the Grants Mill Campus by managing administrative needs and coordinating key team operations for worship related requests at the Grants Mill Campus. It participates in weekly campus meetings, Sunday evening services, and the worship coordination of campus specific services and events as requested by campus departments.
Experience and Knowledge Required
• Experience in leading worship in a church environment
• Proficiency in musical training
• Proficiency in music production software (Ableton, ProTools, Logic)
• Ability to lead a band and create a worship experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Strong administrative skills
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Serve on Worship team for services and events
• Work alongside the Director of Broadcast Worship and Broadcast Worship Coordinator in scheduling for Sunday evening services
• Help develop worship leaders and band members through Sunday evening services and rehearsals
• Participate in campus meetings for stage rallies, event planning, and special services
• Including but not limited to the following:
• Dream Team Quarterly (once a quarter)
• GML Stage Rally (every Sunday and weekly meeting)
• Freedom Conference Rally (Twice a semester)
• Small Group Rally (Twice a semester)
• Attend rehearsals as a participant, on an as needed basis, and as a coordinator to help with any general needs.
• Coordinate worship needs for Motion Midweek services and special campus student events (twice a month minimum)
• Coordinate Student leadership program summer chapel services (June-July)
• Coordinate worship needs for local student annual events such as Middle School Night
• Coordinator worship needs for all Grants Mill Campus memorials in coordination with the Grants Mill Pastoral Care Team
• Assisting in the development and care of Grants Mill Campus Worship Dream Team alongside the central worship team
• Maintain PCO, ensuring all service details, song assignments, and leadership roles are accurate and up to date for the Grants Mill campus specific services or events
• Maintain all Rock related responsibilities for onboarding and caring for campus Worship Team members
