POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will see patients in skilled nursing facilities and be remotely supported by a robust clinical and administrative team.
A low volume of patients are seen per day, allowing ample time to focus on all needs and to provide proper attention and support.
The duties of the role may include:
- provide high-quality complex geriatric care
- ensure engagement with facility leadership, other providers, patients, and families
- supervise nurse practitioners
- collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
- participate in the on-call schedule
- attend trainings and meetings as required
The practice uses an EHR on a mobile-based platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Virginia medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, relevant field (Internal / Family Medicine, Geriatrics, etc.)
- 2 years relevant clinical practice experience
