What You’ll Do
EMR Administration & Optimization
- Support the administration, configuration, and optimization of the organization’s EMR/EHR platform
- Analyze clinical and operational workflows and recommend system improvements
- Configure user roles, permissions, templates, and workflow enhancements
- Identify opportunities to improve system utilization, efficiency, and data quality
- Troubleshoot EMR-related issues and coordinate solutions with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support EMR onboarding for new programs, locations, and acquisitions
- Assist with data migration, system setup, testing, and user acceptance activities
- Develop implementation plans, documentation, and project timelines
- Promote standardization and best practices across the organization
- Develop and maintain EMR-based reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Analyze data trends, operational performance, and workflow effectiveness
- Support regulatory, compliance, and internal reporting requirements
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and HIPAA compliance
- Partner with clinical, operational, compliance, and leadership teams
- Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
- Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables
- Support training, adoption, and change management initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst, EMR Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on EMR/EHR experience within a healthcare setting
- Experience supporting EMR optimization, implementation, configuration, reporting, or workflow analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience gathering requirements and working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Behavioral health or mental health industry experience
- Experience supporting multi-site healthcare organizations
- Experience with EMR implementations, conversions, or integrations
- Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare operations, and healthcare compliance requirements
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience using SQL for reporting or data analysis
