EMR Management & Optimization
- Administer and maintain the organization’s EMR/EHR system
- Configure workflows, user roles, permissions, and system enhancements
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation, workflows, and system usage
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors/IT
- Support EMR onboarding for new locations or acquisitions
- Coordinate data migration, system setup, and user onboarding
- Ensure standardization across multiple programs or sites
- Develop implementation plans, timelines, and documentation
- Analyze EMR data to identify trends, gaps, and performance opportunities
- Build reports and dashboards to support clinical and operational decisions
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance (HIPAA)
- Support reporting requirements for regulatory and internal needs
- Assist in planning and executing EMR and operational projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet timelines
- Track progress, identify risks, and communicate updates
- Support training, adoption, and change management efforts
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 2–5 years of Business Analyst experience (healthcare preferred)
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in mental or behavioral health
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
- Experience with:
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- SQL, Python, or data analysis tools
- Experience supporting system implementations or integrations
- Business Analysts who enjoy systems optimization and process improvement
