Job Summary
Christian High School, a college preparatory school in the greater San Diego area, is accepting applications for a Study Hall Teacher. The Study Hall Teacher will support students in grades 7–12 by providing a structured, supervised environment that promotes academic focus, personal responsibility, and effective study habits. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with students and is committed to encouraging them to think, learn, and live from a Biblical worldview. This individual will help foster a calm and productive atmosphere, assist students in staying on task, and provide general academic support as needed. We are seeking someone who is passionate about Christian education and feels called to work with students, encouraging both their academic growth and spiritual development through a Christ-centered approach.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required Profess Jesus Christ as your personal Savior Believe that the Bible is God’s Word and is authoritative on all matters of which it speaks Model Christian beliefs, thoughts, and actions toward others, including a commitment to God’s Biblical standards (Luke 6:40) Endorse and comport with the CUSSD Employee Statement of Faith Place Christ and His Word at the center of knowledge and learning Possess spiritual maturity, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to guide and encourage students Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills Experience working with middle school and/or high school students preferred
