Madison Childcare Relief Support Provider/Caregiver/Respite Provider – After-School Hours

Christian Servants Home Care, is looking for reliable care staff, to help serve a child with intellectual and developmental disability

Schedule: Flexible Hrs. weekdays afterschool and weekends optional not required

Job duties include: Providing assistance, companionship, and comfort to clients. Offering temporary relief for primary caregivers.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE

• Additional education or training in human services, special education, or related fields preferred.
• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with individuals, families, and team members.
• Reliable transportation is required; the ability to transport individuals or provide assistance with community outings is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Summary

As an In Home Care Provider for a child , you will be instrumental in delivering compassionate and supportive care to children, particularly those with developmental disabilities. This role requires core skills in childcare and experience working with children, complemented by premium skills such as First Aid certification and special education knowledge. You will engage in activities that promote childhood development and behavior management, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Your relevant experience in caregiving, toddler care, and early childhood education will be vital in fostering a positive and enriching experience for the children in your care.
