Middle School Science & Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 Academic Year
Seeking a teacher who, by their expertise, leads students in an academically engaging environment that inspires excellence and incorporates biblical integration into the curriculum. This position teaches seventh and eighth grade Science and eighth grade Math, guiding students through laboratory-based, student centered learning in life science, introductory chemistry, physics, and pre algebra. Understanding and experience with hands-on science instruction and middle school mathematics are essential.
Class Assignment (Upper School Curriculum Guide)
- 2 sections of 7th grade science
- 2 sections of 8th grade science
- 1 section of 8th grade Math: Pre-Algebra
Experience and willingness to coach an athletic sport is beneficial and would be compensated with a stipend.
Anticipated start date on or about August 17, 2026

Candidate must be professionally qualified, who enjoys working with young people and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models in faith and deed.
- College degree
- Teaching Certificate preferred
- Relevant and rich teaching experiences
- A love for and understanding of children and young students
- A clear understanding and acceptance of Biblical principles
- A strong personal Christian faith in alignment with CHS Statement of Faith
