Executive Director - Get HOPE Global
Worldwide, many women face unique challenges due to violence, limited opportunity, hopelessness and isolation. Get HOPE Global offers practical help through faith-based business training and microloans to give women a chance to discover their true potential. HOPE is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry based in Denver, CO and serving women in the developing world who are at-risk because of poverty.
Get HOPE Global is prayerfully looking for their next Executive Director. This leader will bring vision, executive leadership skills, and fundraising experience which will be key to scaling this role from part time toward full time employment.
Supported by a volunteer board of directors operating from a Policy Governance Model, the ED establishes the strategic initiatives for the organization and determines
the annual budget that will ensure excellence in mission delivery. The Steering Team, including paid and volunteer staff members and led by the ED, not only serves as a knowledgeable advisory board but is also responsible for vital organizational tasks.
The Executive Director has about six direct reports who are paid part-time staff, including an Administrative Director / Loan Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Writer, Bookkeeper, plus Regional Directors in both Tanzania and Ghana. Additional volunteers round out this committed and passionate team.

Draft and execute annual strategic initiatives and budget
Lead and support the staff
Plan, oversee, and activate multiple levels of resource
development to fulfill the mission
Create and nurture ministry partnerships
Oversee curriculum development
Manage Train the Trainer activities
Travel internationally to ensure program effectiveness
and growth
Oversee accounting and bookkeeping functions and
controls
Commit to excellence by fostering a positive, prayerful,
and professional environment and organizational culture

Qualifications And Expectations
- Spiritually and emotionally mature: has a personal commitment to following Christ
- Proven collaborative leadership skills: leading with confidence, decisiveness, and
by empowering and inspiring.
- Experience with raising funds for non-profit organizations
- Experience with or knowledge of microloans and village savings groups
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to passionately articulate the God-given mission, vision, and
- Conveniently located: It is strongly preferred that the Executive Director be located in Colorado, in or near the Denver area
This Executive Director role has been a part-time contract position in recent years. Qualified applicants will discuss
their desired scope of employment during the personal interview stage. The board is open to the right person being
employed part-time to full-time.
Compensation for this role will be set based on experience and comparable salaries in this faith-based nonprofit
sector. Effective fundraising efforts to reach annual funding goals by the ED will ensure resources sufficient to pay for
