PAY RATE: $14.01 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience)

Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day food service operations of the Family Life Child and Family Development Center. Safely transports children to and from center, in van. Rides as bus monitor, as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare menus and well-balanced nutritious meals in accordance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines. Maintain a clean kitchen with standards for the Federal Food Program, State licensing, and Health Department.
- Maintain records in the designated time frame with accuracy that pertains to the Federal Food Program guidelines and regulations.
- Safely rides as a bus monitor or transports 3-5 year old children and parents, in the van, as needed.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent General Studies Required
Years of Experience:
Less than 1 year of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Certifications and Licensure:
Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
CAP Driving Certification* (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Required
CPR and First Aid (or ability to obtain) Required
Non-Contagious TB Test Result Required
Food Handler Required
*In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk
Lift 48 lb from floor and carry 40 ft and place on shelf at 36 inches
Lift 18 lb from floor to shelf at 102 inches, using a step ladder if needed
Push with 45 lb of force for 5 ft
Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance
Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses
Have good hearing capabilities
