What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper School Administrative Assistant position at Christ's Church Academy?
The Upper School Administrative Assistant is a vital member of Christ’s Church Ministries, helping to advance Christ’s Church Academy’s mission to make disciples (Matt. 28:18), better disciples (Acts 2:42), and more disciples (Mark 16:15) through excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. With guidance and in partnership with the Upper School Principal and the Academic Advisor, the Upper School Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Upper School leadership team.
Qualifications:People
• Receives primary direction from the Upper School Principal regarding the prioritization of day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
• Provides assistance and support to the Academic Advisor regarding administrative tasks associated with class scheduling, college applications, standardized testing, and other tasks necessary to support the academic program.
• Assists the Campus Life Director as needed to support school events and/or student activities.
• Build and maintain relationships across the school community.
• A team player willing to flex and help support efforts collaboratively.
• Follow the Matthew 18 principle in navigating conflict with students, parents, faculty, and/or administration.
Essential Functions
• Reflect the mission of the school by discipling students and helping them to know Jesus, be transformed by Jesus, and be on mission with Jesus.
• Responsible for the ordering of all Upper School curriculum materials and supplies – including the establishment of faculty and student accounts.
• Responsible for the data entry or Upper School standardized test results
• Tracks student community service hours for Bright Futures and other scholarships/awards
• Serves at the Sevenstar Academy and FLVS coordinator
• Assists the Academic Advisor in developing testing calendars and room assignments for students and test proctors.
• Works with the Academic Advisor to processes all transcript requests following school policies.
• Responsible for student locker assignments and parking permits
• Protect the confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within legal confines.
• Support the broader school community by attending extracurricular events when possible.

Qualifications
• Three to five years’ experience in a similar capacity preferably within an academic environment and/or church ministry.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field
• Must possess strong organization and communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Teams
