What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant in Ministry position at Christ Lutheran Church?
Christ Lutheran Church in Byron, MN is actively searching for a lay person to serve as an Assistant in Ministry, focusing on youth and young adults. This paid position will work alongside the pastor to support the life of the congregation and help people grow in faith and community.
The person in this role will coordinate Wednesday night ministries, including leading the high school youth group, and support other youth activities. They will also connect with young adults, building relationships and strengthening community both in person and online. Additionally, there may be opportunities to assist with parts of Sunday morning ministry.
We are looking for someone who is grounded in Lutheran theology, with a heart for teaching, leadership, and building meaningful programs.
