Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards of practice.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and clinical conditions.
- Notify physicians and family members of significant changes in residents' conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, treatments, wound care, and IV therapy safely and accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians during resident rounds.
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and compliance with facility policies.
- Ensure nursing documentation is complete, accurate, and timely.
- Participate in shift report to promote continuity of care.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
- Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life at all times.
